Our Treasurer, Jurrii Oesterling, and our Communications Officer, Denise Madole, participated in the Polar Plunge on February 18 in support of Special Olympics. The water temp was 41 degrees!

Advance Class - March 2023
Drone Team
MPO Michael Robertson gave an excellent presentation on the NPD's Drone Team. We learned about the do's and don't's of piloting a drone and the benefits to law enforcement.

Crime Scene Forensics
Forensic Tech Dave Fruediger gave alumni an in-depth view of the procedures and processes of processing a crime scene. Alumni even got to do their own fingerprinting! Thank you Dave for your excellent presentation.
Advanced Class - July 2023
Street Crimes
MPO Ben Gomez and Sgt. Chris Allison gave a presentation on the gang/street crimes in Norman. MPO Gomez, Sgt. Allison and Lt. Marcus Savage make up the PACE unit which stands for Pro Active Crime Enforcement. They gave an overview of the gang culture and tendencies they have come across in Norman. Be watching for a future advanced class on the PACE unit!
